Have you wondered where I have been?  Well, to make a long story short, I have been working A LOT at my full-time job and two other part-time jobs.  We are working on getting out of debt and staying that way.  That takes dedication and extra money…thus all of the extra work.

In addition to working, I have been dealing with a knee injury that occurred in July and caused me to have to significantly reduce my amount of working out.

All of that has resulted in some weight gain, which I am not happy about.  However, reality is that LIFE happens.  Stuff comes up and gets in the way sometimes of our goals and our missions.  It is our responsibility to do something about it and get back on track as soon as possible.

I had knee surgery on December 19, 2013 and as of today, I feel like I am much better off now than I was before the surgery.  My knee is still very sore, as the muscles are still healing and are now being asked to do more activity than they have done in a while.

I am dedicated to getting back to my workouts as soon as possible and back to running by the end of 2014.
